For The Return Of Your Lost Keys

ST. LOUIS , /PRNewswire/ --

If you have ever lost a
car key, you quickly find out that replacing it can cost hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

To help avoid that hassle and expense, National Key Recovery Service, LLC(NKRS (SM)), with the cooperation of the U.S. Postal Service, offers the only known specific key identification system that provides the public with key recovery service in the United States, http://www.nkrs.biz.

"Our service is a method of key recovery that brings peace of mind to consumers of their lost or misplaced keys," said Timothy Stewart, managing partner at NKRS. "In today's fast-paced, multi-tasking society, reduced costs and security are also paramount concerns."

Customers receive two key tags with a personalized identification number to affix to their key ring. No personal information is listed on the tags. All recovered keys returned via any U.S. Postal Service mailbox will be shipped by NKRS to customers by overnight mail (annual fee, $29.95).

Based on a survey of 50 makes and models, the Center for Auto Safety found the average dealer price of a smart key to be over $150, more than 12 times the average dealer price of a mechanical key at $12. If you need to replace a computer to get a new smart key, the cost soars to $2,200 for a Toyota and$3,600 for a Mercedes.

"In the same way that *OnStar(R) opens a vehicle when keys are lockedinside, NKRS returns lost keys back to consumers when their keys are lost and recovered," Stewart says.

NKRS service also provides the additional benefit of recovering additional keys aside from automobile keys and remotes.

NKRS also offers several discount programs as well as a charity donation program for cause support.
